@databricks Then VIOOH showed how a programmatic ad platform is rethinking geospatial at speed. By combining POI data, screen metadata, and campaign briefs in Snowflake, their team now builds fully interactive maps, helping clients visualize ad reach, refine targeting, and sign off faster.

@databricks Next up was Anita Graser, Senior Scientist at the Austrian Institute of Technology and lead developer of MovingPandas. She introduced a new Trajectory Analytics Extension that brings MovingPandas to the cloud. Now, it is in preview for BigQuery (and coming to Snowflake).

The team at @CACIIntl explored how work patterns have shifted since the pandemic. Using postcode data and mobile app activity, they found many “missing” workers aren’t missing — just working elsewhere. Foot traffic in cities like Shoreditch confirms it. 💻
