Not a flames fan, no dog in this fight whatsoever, but OilNation won’t be happy. No team ever is when their goaltender is involved in a collision.
With that said, to a neutral observer, 5+GM was plenty…bordering on excessive.

Smith creates the contact with a last second spin. Lucic has no chance to change his route. This was not a dirty play. Should have been a 2 minute penalty not a 5.

I should hope not! Lucic pulled up. Smitty was in a bad position at contact. Head first into the boards is never good but I believe it was unintentional
