News from the garden front: I found this giant lurking under one of my birdbaths, and although this slug is quite large I don't know what it has been eating since most of plants show no signs of damage. But, I should probably catch and pickle it to bribe our latest vss365 host.

News from the garden front: This may not look like much; but, when I bought some seeds on a whim, I was expecting far less. I hoped a few might sprout and I'd get a plant or two, but I didn't expect to get any flowers. Now I dare to dream that I might even get a cape gooseberry.

News from the garden front: While the puppy dragged me into new environs, not all was strange and new. In fact, there were some old friends who didn't seem to be enjoying the heat. They just laid in the shade and ignored the little barking dog as well as the idiot with a camera.
