If someone were to post the specific city on their own that is fine. But x should avoid automatically showing the city on the users behalf to avoid real, actual harm risks of doxing.

Showing just the state minimally = good for knowing if someone is actually in the country they claim, In case they are #lying. It could also protect from #scammers who may also openly lie. I think currently as it just shows the origin country, but not the city avoids doxing.

My thoughts on the new "about this account" feature on #X found on an accounts bio. It's ok, for a minimal display of at least the country of origin of the account you are looking at. If, it doesn't show more detailed info, like the state or city. Could lead to actual doxing.

I can't with current day #ageverification enforced on internet. My main concern is the idea of forcing id verification for #Youtube and #Facebook. Why do some locations want 16+ for those #socialmedia platforms. 16+ to view content on Youtube?
