Sometimes it’s easy to forget where we came from and how far along we have come. I was scrolling through pictures this weekend and stumbled upon this transformation. Thankful for all the help and advice I have received thus far in my career!

Laying down a truck load of sod on the hottest week of the year so far calls for a 5:00 start to beat the heat. The views are worth it and the crew is kicking tail.

Wrapping up my first year as a Golf Course Superintendent and to say the least it’s been a BUSY one. No more dead spots on the greens I adopted, phase 1 of bunker reno is complete, phase 1 of cart path reno is complete, around 100 trees taken down, and new irrigation controllers.

We had a good blanket of frost this morning so Waylon and I had a good 2.5 mile walk around the front 9 to check everything out. ❄️
