Talk about anticompetitive. At this point, the unlocking rules just don't matter if they can keep you from using your phone on their network after you've already ported over.

Even worse, if they're already on the network with their choice of phone that is volte compatible, but that the provider doesn't want on it, they just don't whitelist it like the phones they sell themselves. Then they massively push you to buy a phone from them.

Firstly, this entire 3g to VOLTE debacle seems to have become a way for incumbents to bypass the bs rules to make it easier to switch providers. Funny enough, it's a way to keep people off their networks.

So another reason to hate @RogersHelps. They were deliberately fucking over oneplus 9 users. Volte didn't work on Fido, despite having the right sim card and set to auto switch to 5g. Just ported his number to @PublicMobile_EN and it just works.

Bfs car broke. He said the magic smoke escaped when he tried to start it. I walked home (had food that would go bad otherwise) and came back in my 2004 car, with tools. He's now trying to fix it. 😅.
