My American brain can't process the $4 Dr visit and $5 medicine (2 types). It was $26 the time before that when I got x-rays and an ultrasound on my thumb. Scheduled a rehab appt for Mon. Hopefully will be back to playing games again soon đ.

Today, some of my 2nd graders "found out" that I'm a foreigner. and they were shocked . Like, wut. They've seen me almost a year. Also, flattered/happy that many of them proceeded to ask "why do you speak Japanese??" . Kids are funny đ€Ł.

Tomorrow is Sports Day at my school, they were making an announcement about dress code. "Black/Navy pants" .I ask the Art teacher about my very dark gray pants "Are these black?".She says "hmmm. Ya, basically. What, do you have time to wash and dry them before tmr?" .Me: đđ.

Another 3 months, another HP book in the books in #äžæ. đ . #4 is considerably longer than 3 and 2, so I'm glad we could pick up the pace, but 5 is the LONGEST, so we're gonna have to read a LOT more in spring. Goal is to finish the series by Jan 1 :).Wish me luck!.
Took us ANOTHER 3 months of reading on the bus/train to finish HP3 in #Chinese . REALLY enjoyed this read-through!. As a reward, my wife and I are doing a 3-part #HarryPotter marathon this break :).(Japanese audio, Eng subs - we live in Japan so that's what Netflix has :P).

I wish there were a way to tell Google how far into a series you are to specifically block spoilers past where you've watched bc CHILL on the One Piece spoilers, bro. I'm almost there đ . Also, stop putting spoilers in article titles đĄ .That should be a rule đ.

Took me 3 months but we finished #harrypotter #2 in Chinese today. #ama. REALLY enjoyed the last few chapters, which made me wanna read more, but too many other languages to study. You get it #langtwt. Onto the 3rd book!.Btw, look at the beautiful art on the #chinese version :O

Today, I had classes with my 2nd graders (7-8 y.o). And after class, one of the kids had his hand in the air for some reason, so I tickled his armpit. And then another kid walks up and puts his hand up and says "me, me!". Wut?! .Never seen someone ASK to get tickled!! đđ.
