First one that came to mind … HR manager of our leadership development program wouldn’t let a female coworker and I (we were both recent college grads) go on an overnight trip together, we had to go at separate times for a visit to our facility

What’s your most ridiculous personal HR experience?
I’ll go first.
Once had HR complain to my boss that I was reading with my feet on my desk. I was managing a $1.1 Billion corporate bond portfolio while getting in trouble with HR for having my feet on my desk. Good times.

That's actually not at all a bad idea. And it's not your call alone to make. It's likely that your coworker requested it.

Reminded of the Mike Pence policy of not being alone with women besides his wife. Avoids (accusations of) sexual impropriety but also limits her professional opportunities
