Yesterday I was proud to attend the largest Armistice Day Parade in the UK, in my local town of Bedworth — the town that never forgets. In honour of the brave men who gave their lives so that we might live in peace and freedom.

Name by name, stone by stone, courage outlives the years. For the young who never grew old; for the old who carry the years; for those who serve today, on land, at sea, in the air, and at home. In gratitude for our freedom, we remember. We will remember them 🕯️

I’m calling on Bridget Phillipson to give local councils like WCC the power to adapt statutory walking distances for Home to School Transport. Costs have rocketed from £17.9m in 2018 to £50m. We’ve got to make this sustainable while supporting families. Read my letter in full.
