@graue FWIW a parkway was the original vision. Caltrans just basically didn’t know how to actually make it into not a freeway since that’s what they do. All things considered they did a better job than they often do, though not saying much.

It baffles me how anyone can grapple w/ recalling @chesaboudin & also claim to support criminal justice reform. Boudin isn't perfect, but he's done a hell of a job putting us on a better path. Scapegoating fear is easy; real social justice is hard work.
