Magically after yet another reboot the link came up. I built this NAS box in 2013 (see but it feels like brand new now. I am getting 9.40 Gbits/sec to it! (the .2 ip there is the 1G nic)

Oops, attached the FreeBSD image twice. Here is the Linux output.

Both Linux and FreeBSD (TrueNAS 13) detected my Intel X520 10G cards. And on Linux the DAC link came up immediately. Not sure why it isn't coming up on FreeBSD. Also the Zyxel XGS1210-12 switch doesn't let me change the MTU to 9000. No jumbo frames for me.

The 10G conversion of my home LAN has begun. A Zyxel XGS-1210-12, some X520s for the servers and desktops and Twinax SFP+ DAC cables.
