Pondering FADS, or whatever it is called now. We've run a similar requirement through the UCL MSc design exercise a few times, with some specific constraints on the solution. There are a lot of ways to solve this problem...

This... this isn't actually true of the MiG-29, right? This is just the "AKs were designed to fire NATO bullets" myth, right (Which was still going round in the 1990s)

What’s the betting that something strangely similar to LCS will end up being proposed again. I.e. commercial derivative with lots of robots. But it definitely won’t be another LCS. DEFINITELY.

I love that depth of field is apparent in the shots over the nose. Makes it so much more real. We do not see all before is in simultaneous focus, so why do we try to make a camera do so?
