Excited that @B_B_Beast's work on KIF15-dependent spindle assembly is now in press at Mol Biol Cell! In brief, Brittany shows that PRC1 is required for KIF15-dependent spindle assembly and that elevated PRC1 levels promote resistance to Eg5 inhibitors. Link will be posted soon!

Coming soon! Ecstatic that work from the @R_Ohi_Lab and @kjverhey1 labs is in press @CurrentBiology! In brief, Yang Yue and Takashi Hotta determine how microtubules are detyrosinated in cells. Microtubule lattice conformation is key: an expanded lattice licenses detyrosination.
