My opinion on Steam Frame: It's just a Quest 3 with eye tracking. To compete with Meta, it should be at least $500 per headset, but speculations says that's it's going to be closer to 1k. Looks like there is no native display port through Type-C which is very sad.

Not surprised it has no Lighthouse support, would be weird to have it. I still love Lighthouse, but I don't think it's the future of VR to be honest. No OLED is the weirdest thing there, as well as the resolution which I expected to be around 2550x2550 like BSB have.

With 110° FOV and this resolution we'll definitely have a clearly visible screen door effect. I hope they have the optics at least as good as Quest 3 has. Wireless with a special dongle is a great feature, and I hope that compression will not be visible as it is on Quest.

I really liked the idea of adding more buttons to the controllers, the other VR manufacturers should do the same. I always hated the capacitive sensor based finger tracking on Index controllers, so I glad they got rid of it.
