We were delighted to welcome @AmbJapanUK Hiroshi Suzuki, his partner Mrs Eiko Suzuki, and a very special guest to see Romeo and Juliet on our Main Stage!.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Pierre Audi. A visionary leader, he founded the Almeida Theatre and shaped the Dutch National Opera and Festival d’Aix-en-Provence with his artistry.
We are extremely sad to hear of the passing of the Almeida’s founder Pierre Audi. He set up the Almeida in 1979 and was Artistic Director for a decade. Our thoughts are with his friends and family.
