I really hope he was in one of the Spits with you. A lovely thing for you to have done to honour him. For me, each time I see the BoB flight or any one of those grand old birds I'm back to being 12 again at Mildenhall, Duxford or Lakenheath.

I may be wrong, but isn't the plane on the left the naval version of the Spitfire - the Seafire ? The pale yellow underside suggests this ?
