There’s been a lot of ai stuff coming out and I just wanna say that I am very against the use of genAI, in any context, it will never be okay to use ai for anything instead of just using human creativity

I just recently learned about Amazon using ai for the banana fish dub and I find that insane, using ai instead of hiring voice actors will never be acceptable, ai can never replicate what human voice actors are able to do

Not to sound like I’m venting but I just want to have motivation to audition so I can be cast eventually

How do voice actors find the motivation to audition? I feel like every time I get into the booth and record an audition, it just doesn’t sound right to me so I tend to just not record anything else, how do I not just give up on auditions? :(

I took off my goal for a new mic because I’m unsure if I’ll actually be able to buy one now so I’m waiting on that but tips are always still appreciated and commissions are always open!!

Got the payment method set up so now I can audition for paid roles!
