Stuck in a plane for 13 hours, I watched (twice) this mind blowing documentary "Apollo 11" from Todd Miller (2019). Using unreleased footages it is like being there in the capsule en route to the moon. Makes you think big time about the wonder of STEM.

Conan Wang presenting is brilliant work on peptide permeability and computational study of cyclosporin.

Meritxell Teixidó talks about venom-derived peptides that can be used as shuttles to reach the brain. Interesting peptides are downsized, non-toxic bee apamin and scorpion chlorotoxin.

Marion de Jong radiopeptides can also be used to target cancers. Interestingly, GPCR antagonists are more potents than agonists at targeting the GPCR over-expressed in cancer.

Ｓtarting the day with a talk from Marion de Jong who studies radiopeptides that bind to GPCR over-expressed in cancers (ie imaging of cancer). Especially the somatostatin analogue such as cyclic peptide octreotide.
