Cutting food waste in the U.S. by 50% could be almost as beneficial to biodiversity as switching the entire U.S. population to a planet-conscious diet. See interview with @QuentinDRead about his research on creating a more #sustainable #food system: https://t.co/1jk5bYertI

Today, the radical right-wing supermajority on the US Supreme Court handed down its decision in West Virginia v. Environmental Protection Agency. To be clear- this is a shockingly disturbing decision that hobbles EPA's ability to reduce climate pollution.

Taking a research support role like biostatistician should not be seen as an inferior "plan B" to becoming a PI of a lab -- it is important & rewarding!

Ever wonder what happens if you plant a tallgrass #prairie without dominant grasses? So did we! Turns out a lot - sustained increase in diversity, shift to dominant forbs, changes in biomass, nutrient cycling, etc. Check it out!

And yet another in a long list of reports and studies that show that moving to a plant-based diet is good for the climate. We only have 3 years to change the course of climate change, according to the IPCC. Time for action. https://t.co/hiL8ovJ0SN
