@LilyWaite_ Lily is an everything person. And by that, we mean she can literally do everything (and for a while, was doing everything here at QB). Now there’s more of us, she mainly handles the general running and growing of the company, as well as production and other bits and bobs.

@LilyWaite_ As the owner and founder of QB, she’s the reason all of this exists in the first place. Born out of a desire to increase LGBTQ+ representation in an industry dominated by cis, hetero, male voices, we couldn’t be happier that she took the leap in 2019 to create something like this.

Humans of Queer Brewing edition 4 is a special one—the mother of QB herself, @lilywaite_ 🖤. It also happens to be her 30th birthday today! So let’s raise a glass to celebrate just how incredible she is.

was our pick for April to June, and we couldn't be more proud to have contributed to their work. We collaborated on a beer with them in May, too (pictured)—we hope you managed to try To Be Seen! If you're not familiar with their work, please go check them out!.

In April we changed how we raise money for charity: we pick a new charity every quarter & donate 10p from every pint and can sold over those three months. Queer Britain—the UK's only dedicated LGBTQ+ museum, that does amazing work preserving and telling our community's stories.

It's taken a little longer than we'd hoped, but we're thrilled to say that we've just donated £5,244.10 to @QueerBritain ❤️
