Sept 1st isn’t the beginning or the end - D1 coaches have been evaluating athletes for a while already and will continue to evaluate them long after Sept 1st. Stay the course and trust in YOUR process!

With a lot of buzz going around about September 1st, I've seen so many people saying it's the "start of recruiting for the class of 2027"...a few thoughts:

I think about how much work it takes to get recruited in this era. The emails, the video creation, the posts, the lessons, the travel to camps and tournaments. All of that while going to school, practice, etc. It seems like maybe too much, but it’s how it happens.

Great way to spend the weekend helping to kick off the 25-26 year for a fantastic group of athletes! Can’t wait to see the growth of this group of 27s-31s over the next few years! Huge shout out to @StarsShowcaseFp for the plan & support system they’re creating for families!🌟

Getting recruited isn’t the finish line. The culture has to shift → development. Show up with tools. Show up with skills. Show up with physicality. Show up with mental toughness & work ethic. Don’t just focus on getting in the door—be ready to compete for 4 years!
