This forum was not an endpoint but a call to action: to make research more accessible, actionable, and empowering for those shaping the future of Arabic language education.

Throughout the sessions, 1 message rang clear: Research only drives meaningful change when it is connected to teachers, students, & classroom realities. Too often, valuable insights are confined to academic journals, while educators lack access to research-informed strats.

She advocates for a teaching approach that prepares learners to navigate both formal academic environments and informal conversations shaped by Arabic diglossia.

Veronica’s view: Researchers and educators must delve deeper into the complexities of native–non-native Arabic exchanges and prioritize real-world, context-rich studies of “living” Arabic.

At #2025BATA QFI led presentations & discussions with UK educators and researchers to strengthen Arabic language teaching. QFI's contributions included insights on immersive learning programs, proposed reforms for the Arabic GCSE curriculum, & evidence-based classroom strategies.
