Congratulations to all the winners especially our @CDCTelethonKids people's choice winner @AveniHaynes1 . This funding will go towards her ground breaking CGM study, detecting early changes in glucose patterns in young children who are at risk of #T1D.
A big thank you - and congratulations - goes out to all researchers who presented at our 'PitchFest' last night, as 10 #EMCRs pitched their projects for the chance to win $25,000 in philanthropic funding. Read the full rundown: https://t.co/a2KzavB7fx

JDRF celebrates today’s decision from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to approve teplizumab (under the brand name Tzield) for use in delaying type 1 diabetes (T1D) in at-risk individuals. This is a huge step on the path towards our vision of a world without T1D. (1/2)

Great to have one of our brilliant diabetes researchers @AveniHaynes1 @BetaCellCRE giving an excellent talk on using CGM in the first stages of #T1D at the #EASD2022 Annual Meeting in Stockholm. @JDRFaus @ProfLizDavis @ProfTimJones
@AveniHaynes1 just gave a great talk at #EASD2022 looking at CGM in the ENDIA study. Glycemic variability and TIR was different in the stages leading to T1D. Important implications for how we can monitor kids prior to stage 3.
