Jordan Poole should be the consensus Most Improved Player. Went from a guy who was in the G-League last season to a guy who’s the 2nd best offensive player on a championship contender and a guy who elevated his game in the absence of Steph Curry and kept GSW’s offense afloat.

His omission from the ballot entirely is really weird. I’d also put Desmond Bane instead of Ja and Anfernee Simons over Garland. Everyone expected the leaps from Ja and Garland they were top 5 picks two seasons ago.

I agree the MOST IMPROVED isn't the best player who has improved some. It's who's taken a leap. Jordan is the definition of the award.

Poole literally just went from playing 20mpg to 30mpg. Sure it’s impressive, not everyone can just scale up. But dejounte Murray improved in every major statistical category across the board, took over as the primary option, became an allstar and nearly averaged a triple double
