Excited to share our paper "Poverty and Disadvantage throughout Childhood in the U.S." published in Child Indicators Research. We analyze #PSID data over 2 decades and find that 10% of all children spend at least half of their childhood in poverty.

This is the National Week for postdoc scholars! I am happy to showcase my postdoc @MuchinBazan as my post-doc this year. We are excited to collaborate with @Abu_Shonchoy on the project where we evaluate the effect of Covid-19 restrictions on school closures in India.
Muchin Bazan is evaluating the effect of state COVID-19 restrictions and school closures in India on education outcomes, particularly negative effects on math and reading test scores. School closures hurt learning outcomes even if online classes were available. #NPAW2024
