I do not know a single person who owns a landline or who answers a call from a number not in their contacts so I'm not certain who it is that they are even polling.
There were ten polls on the Maryland U.S. Senate Democratic Primary released this year.
David Trone led in seven of them, most by double digits. Angela Alsobrooks led in three, never by more than five points.
Alsobrooks just beat Trone by double digits.
Polling is a veryโฆ

You don't know me, but I still have a landline. I live in a rural area w/ spotty cell service.
I'm 64 & have been polled exactly once. It was tedious, too many questions & obviously skewed to one party. Questions about candidates & measures not even in my district. Worthless.

I have a landline and live in Los Angeles area. Iโm also in my eighties. I call it my spam filter. Only my family calls me on it. They know I hate my cell. Everyone else texts me. I was last polled for Reagan. I quit listening long ago.

I have a landline but the ringer is off. I only have it because I was here for Isabel. I didnโt have power for five days. Cell phones AND cordless phones were pointless. My landline is a corded phone on my kitchen wall. I never answer it so they didnโt poll me! Lol
