My favorite reason for going vegan is (from a cardiologist), "There are cardiologists who are vegan. And then there are those who haven't read the data." Switching away from meat and cheese won't kill us but choosing to not probably will.

Vegans are great people. They believe in the values of love, kindness, gentleness, care and respect where there is weakness or vulnerability, and the ending of all abuse and injustice. More than any other identifiable grouping they can lead us all onwards to a better future.

Wonder who done this survey, was it the vegan council or vegan backed, like the one in the 70s which was butter is bad for you margerine is better, done by the margerine board 😋

...and yet, it seems most supermarkets can't be bothered making a fanfare of veganuary, there doesn't seem to be much extra promotion going on, which is an opportunity missed - unless of course it's just in my area,(North Staffs)- what do you think?

I understandthe power of positive statements but I'm somewhat sceptical.... it hasn't increased in my circle that I'm aware of....but once insect protein is being added to food just watch it soar....
