In my short 15 years in the Marine Corps, this is the only SMMC that actually PTβs with his troops. How do you create buying Marines? You look to the front and who do I see, the motivated Sergeant Major leading me! O-Rah Marine Corps ππΌππΌ Kill.
U.S. #Marine Corps @USMCSgtMaj, the 20th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, led a formation run with staff noncommissioned officers from 1st Marine Aircraft Wing at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 3, 2025.

@PitTalkPodcast1 I gotta be honest, PT for me was always a struggle and I hated every single second. But I volunteered and endured extreme physical training just to get back to the liberty in Olongapo. I was SCUBA qualified at the Navy Ship Repair Facility at Subic Bay in 1972. Semper Fi from Doc

@PitTalkPodcast1 Also, SecWar also does PT with his troops. Lloyd Austin never did that. Semper Fi Gunny from Doc.

@PitTalkPodcast1 If I were a lot younger (I'm 68) I can tell you he would probably motivate me to go Marines vs Navy. Of course when I joined I was I was looking for computer training. The Navy said yes, the Air Force read my ASVAB and wanted me to be an Aircraft Mechanic. The man is out there

@PitTalkPodcast1 I said the same thing to my self the other day when I saw him PTing with the air wingers on Okinawa. Heβs most forward facing SMMC Iβve ever seen. Motivating!
