While PipeWeaver can't directly use PipeWire's volume adjustments (it needs the full volume so it can adjust it for the Matrix Mixing), what I can do is a bi-directional prop sync to allow standard utilities (and hardware controls) to manage the internal volumes.

Seems like everything to PipeWire so we just released a v0.6.4-rc1 version of https://t.co/AA3EL9ubji and works also on a SteamDeck like a charm!

✨️Frame sharing into OBS on Linux works!✨️ This is NOT screen capture even though it says screen capture! It's a direct render into a PipeWire DMA-BUF video stream! Next stream, cleanup and hooking this up to the Spout2 side to complete the trick!

Been a while, but PipeWeaver (formerly PipeCast) is approaching a usable state, working on metering currently, attaching physical nodes works, Drag and drop is functional for reordering, changes save.. For a base project, we're almost done :)

Pipewire has been a game changer when it comes to managing audio pipelines between applications. Compared to how we started with OSS it is so slick it rivals anything other OSs have done.

Got a new XLR mic, plugged into my interface, and noticed that the way it's seen from linux is quite unusable for most stuff. Each input is a separate channel in a Surround setup. No problem, small little pipewire script and we got it sorted :) shoutout pipewire
