First #MathsWeekScotland at Scotlands newest School! Massive thank you to the staff at @lrcfs from @dundeeuni for their engaging and professional activities today at the #RaptorRescue activity! Working at the #CrimeScene was the pupil highlight! Mine was the binary code! 01000011
Today 180 of our @DundeeBairns worked with the fantastic staff at the @lrcfs from @dundeeuni Working with forensic scientists seeing how the skills they develop in Maths can be used to solve problems in the real world! You all did the school proud! #love #ambition #perseverance

The difference in the numbers of pupil attending virtual supported study sessions has been massive for us this year. 3 pupils after school F2F or 29 pupils virtually at 6pm. These higher attendee numbers have continued during the holidays too!!! Want to increase impact? Try this!

Round 2 is a round dedicated to building and solving problems based on Archimedean and Platonic solids. This is the most enjoyable and satisfying round for some participants Another one that requires teamwork, strategy and lots of logic! #TimetoBuild #EnterprisingMaths #EMiS2023

Last week at Monikie we were trying out different craft before making final decisions on what we want to use for our qualifying expedition. The MegaSUP was very popular! Now it's time to complete more training in our chosen craft and smash the expedition to complete our awards!
