The CPEOC Program has consulted more than 200 subject matter experts (SMEs) from more than 100 museums and universities to identify thousands of cultural objects. We are grateful to our on-call SMEs, as well as to funding from @US_IMLS, for supporting this critical work.

The Program identifies objects under investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Art Crime Team; Homeland Security Investigations's Cultural Property, Art, and Antiquities Program; and the National Targeting Center’s Antiquities Unit at Customs and Border Protection.

Today we announced the launch of the Museums: Missions and Acquisitions (M2A) Project. Supported by a National Leadership Grant from @US_IMLS, the M2A Project is studying the collecting practices of 450+ U.S. museums and the relationship between their missions and collections.

🔵 On August 7th, the "Traditions of the Didi Liakhvi Valley - Village Kekhvi" exhibition opened in Gori, showcasing Kekhvi's cultural heritage before and after the 2008 war. The event highlighted research on the Tskhinvali region's intangible heritage. Supported by @usingeo.
