Why is this even being debated? The people of all ages who actually get this treatment are overwhelmingly satisfied with the results and never asked for government assistance. Yet now they want to destroy it just because they don't like those results. So disheartening.

Adult care bans disguised as TRAP-type restrictions are not a “modest compromise.”
If Ohio passes the regulations, they will have the most draconian trans adult restrictions in the country. It will be a defacto ban for most people.
The banality of this coverage makes my teeth itch. As the actual people who will be harmed by DeWine's actions are making preparations to flee, NYT writes about these new rules, currently the most stringent rules being proposed anywhere in the country, as if they're mild reforms.

Because trans people by their very nature are a complication to a simple worldview. The fact that we exist creates confusion in simple minds. So they want to eliminate us to simplify things.
