The Embassy has undertaken serious investigations in the Chinese Community in Uganda, and so far we have not received any report on the incident. However, we welcome any clue reported to the local police. This isolated incident should not disturb the China-Africa friendship.

Over the years, Chinese investors in Uganda have made positive contributions to the social-economic transition. We always encourage all overseas Chinese to abide by law of their hosting countries. Yet, any attemp to smear, or harm China-Africa friendship is not acceptable.
