We use organs-on-a-chip in our in vitro research. These glowing orbs are human liver cell spheroids, a collection of cells used to mimic an organ. Each spheroid contains around 12,500 cells. Fascinating. More about organs-on-a-chip under in vitro methods here ➡️

It's a well-known fact that cigarette smoking is harmful and causes serious disease. Adult smokers can inhale half a trillion solid particles per cigarette. While it is absolutely clear that the best thing an adult smoker can do is to quit cigarettes altogether, so many don’t.
