what are people using for a good domain registrar these days? i looked at a few and they're all a bit sad. namecheap's ux is pretty outdated. gandi doesn't have a great reputation. cloudflare is great but doesn't support a lot of tlds. :(.

been using iOS 26 for a few weeks… Liquid Glass looks cool as hell but also *exactly* like what i get in my eyes just before i get slapped with a migraine.

my aeropress broke after 10+ years of daily use. legendary product. can’t say the same for most stuff.

the way people interact with documentation is changing so quickly! it’s going to be interesting to see what docs sites even look like a year from now.

after using an ipad full time/not owning a personal macbook for like 4 years, vibecoding finally made me cave—got the new macbook air and it's *lovely*.

Recommended Mila Air Purifiers for years, but have 3 that got loud fan issues—turns out it’s a known issue with bad bearings that happens just as your warranty expires. They kept quiet rather than warning customers and then ask for $150 for a replacement, pretty shady 🙄

Oh even better—if you have a mouse on your iPad, you get a *real* cursor now! It’s a computer!

I didn’t quite internalize that bringing windowing to iPad meant full-on system menus at the top like a Mac too!

i pretty much exclusively use an ipad outside of work and love it—but the lack of windowing always felt like it was holding it back. this makes it the best computer for most people!!.

also i published a gradient playground on the site for fun! . the amazing thing about ai tools is they can help you build interfaces for experimenting with different parameters interactively. go play! .

i wrote a little bit about co-designing/experimenting with AI and how i moved between v0/cursor a whole bunch to make this thing happen. coming away from this i really believe ai for iteration/ideation is going to be a huge deal in the design industry.

after years of languishing, i finally redesigned my portfolio site using AI to help me dream up something new. i ended up making this weird gradient ascii art tool with @v0. being able to try weird ideas for real is a HUGE unlock—and a ton of fun.

So many useful things built into iOS but buried under some weird ass gesture they never bothered to tell anyone about.

TIL if you hold your finger down after drawing a circle on a screenshot in iOS it corrects it to a perfect circle 🤯
