@mass_werk We should. But the simulator works at a very low level, it simulates the electric pulses in the circuit rather than emulating at the instruction level. Not sure we have the Type 33 schematics :-( On the to-do list though!

Angelo and I are working on a PDP-1 replica. Yes, spacewar. Here is the imperfect first prototype, grafted onto an IKEA bedside table. We really want the demoscene to write PDP-1 demos, they really should get past the C64 :-)

@Oscar_CEDS Hi, please consider implementing the Symbol Generator Type 33 (the CHM PDP-1 has one, as well). This provides "hardware acceleration" for any 5 x 7 patterns in 4 scales… Meaning, flicker-free Space Invaders on the PDP-1? Not so much (too many dots). But with the Type 33: easy.

@Oscar_CEDS That's quite an ambitious approach on the PDP-1, since there's no clock, just local delay-line networks… But, if you're implementing this at all, it may pay off on the I/O-side, which is probably the better part of the PDP-1.
