Robert Redford's passing (Gene Hackman's too) braces us for the end of a great era. Consider: Clint Eastwood is 95 Robert Duvall is 94 Jack Nicholson is 88 Warren Beatty is 88 Dustin Hoffman is 88 Jane Fonda is 87 Al Pacino is 85 Faye Dunaway is 84 Robert DeNiro is 82 *Sigh*

It’s so funny to me that the Colts think Daniel Jones is their guy. 7 turnovers in 2 weeks should be setting off alarm bells behind the scenes. Interested to see how this plays out.

This photo is a microcosm of Hollywood. The three big movie stars are all laughing and grinning. The (great) character actor is subdued.

A brilliant end zone toe-tap saved Indiana earlier today. A failed end zone toe-tap may cost Iowa dearly tonight.

What I love about Indiana’s win is after the clock went to 0:00, they didn’t jump around and celebrate like maniacs. They were very subdued and immediately started shaking hands with their opponent. That level of respect comes from their amazing HC. #Cignetti #IndianavsPennSt

The body control of that Indiana WR to catch the ball at the back of the end zone…holy crap. Francisco Mendoza with a Heisman red zone series there.

Braylon Conley is having himself a game and that’s very good news. He had a rough outing a month or so ago and was upset with himself on the sidelines; after tonight’s game he should feel very good about himself. And the team about him.

Maiava wants that 3rd down end zone throw back. McRee was right there and JM threw it low and behind him, allowing for the defender to knock it down.

We’ve had some opportunities tonight to bring down the RB after a yard or so but the first guy is not closing the deal. The D has to keep working on that physicality.

USC’s defense is definitely hitting the RB closer to the LOS than they were in the 1st half. Playing more downhill now.

You can bag on Lincoln Riley all you want. There is no better offensive mind out there. That drive was a symphony of creative play calls.

Yeah that was blatant. Hip drops are how people get badly hurt - ask Cam Skattebo.
Are the refs not gonna throw a flag for a hip drop tackle on Crawford after the play?! WTF WAS THAT?!?! #USCvsNW

If Northwestern’s DB’s are going to play that far off of Makai Lemon, it’s taking candy from a baby to throw those little comebacks for 8-10 yds.

Looked like a ton of confusion at the LB level before that 2nd down run, but the defense made a nice stop anyway.

CB Braylon Conley is going to have a target on his back in this half. Northwestern knows he’s a new young guy and they will test him.

It’s early to ponder - or maybe not? - but imagine this offense without Lemon and Lane next season. Not easily replaceable players.
