I hoped this @EugWklyCamilla retrospective would get into the legacy of field burning in the mid-Willamette Valley. It did not disappoint.
@PennySRosenberg @dhnews @kylierosegraham @OregonAlex @maddiepfeifer_ I interviewed one of the family members some years ago and that burned into my mind. Also the book about it was so odd and gripping. Thanks for all your coverage of this disaster!
