We are opening up a new section of the club for children who cannot ordinarily take part in team sports with physical disabilities, neuro diversity (autistic) or children with intellectual disabilities. This will initially be 4-10 age group. @Limericksports @LimerickCLG

Numbers limited to 10 or less to begin with, it will be 1:1 adult ratio and we will also be asking parents to assist for the comfort of the children. The session will be fun format games with a view to introducing football skills little by little each week.

We have worked with the LGFA,GAA and other clubs who are successfully delivering this programme, Limerick sports partnership, Cara sport, The GAA diversity+ inclusion officer, Limerick GAA, GAA games for all, local families living with disabilities & Games development officers.

Our team of coaches and helpers together includes experienced special needs assistants and special education teachers all of whom are committed to being the “one good coach” in these kids life, who are determined to help that child succeed and have fun.

We hope to launch “Ball4all” by having a taster session on Sunday 26th September as part of European week of sport and during the Gaa national inclusive fitness week.
