             Today, Alma has travelled to more than 30 countries across the world, worked with the biggest brands, and inspired many Nigerians to start travelling too. She has shown that the Nigerian passport isnāt the biggest limitation to travel. The mind is.

             Her last stop? Lagos. Back to her country where it all begun. And she had her fans waiting to welcome her like the hero she is.              Despite the delays, she kept her head up high, moving continent after continent to meet her goal. At the end of the day, she finished in just around 71 hours and 26 minutes; becoming the fastest woman to travel the 7 continents.  https://t.co/JhTcFwXSCK 
          
           I was just denied boarding on my flight to Perth, Australia for my final leg of the trip š Due to visa issues, I was put on standby for confirmation from Australia till boarding closed and the gate agent had to rebook me on the next flight to Australia.              But her audacity pushed her to continue. The ball was in motion. The challenge was set to begin. Her starting point: Antarctica. Sheād caught the attention of the world. But then, the Nigerian passport will prove to be another setback.

             Her goal was to finish in 70 hours, to beat the previous record of 73 hours. Planning began. She set a start date . Then, she spent weeks applying for visas to the countries sheāll be stepping in. Days before her start date, she learned there was a new record of 64 hours.

             In March 2025, Alma announced her most audacious move yet: āIām going to attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the fastest person to travel across the 7 continentsā. And, she was going to attempt it with the Nigerian passport.  https://t.co/SPH3KmlGin 
          
           On March 15th, Iāll be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the āFastest Time to Visit All Seven Continentsā - one of 2 records this month.              Soon, big brands started knocking. Alma had grown to be one of the biggest travel creators in Nigeria. People with travel problems started reaching out to her for solutions. And that was how @kaijego, her travel agency, was born.

             And with each success, she shared her experience on social media. Nigerians began to pay even more attention. Alma had shown that we could travel on a budget, with our Nigerian passport, and still make memorable experiences.

             She thoughtfully picked countries where it was easy to get an e-visa, or a visa on arrival. She snooped around their official websites, and found rules she could bend to her advantage. By the end of 2023, she'd travelled to more than 10 countries.  https://t.co/PvnLb1wqd1 
          
           Hi, Iām Alma šš½ Iām 25. Nigerian. This year, Iāve been to 10 countries so far. By the end of 2023, it will be 12, maybe 13. You know whatās wild? I didnāt even own a passport until I was 21. And I actually got the passport because I wanted to move to Canada. Guess what?

             But she remained unfazed. Every visa denial, every unpleasant experience at airports, she noted it down. She shared it on her socials, and she learned. She became even more intentional with her travels.

             By 2022, sheād moved on to better paying jobs which could finally afford her travel dreams. Then came another setback. She learned that sometimes, having money is not enough. Especially when travelling with a passport as weak as Nigeriaās.

             With each country visited, she shared her experiences with her followers on social media. Every memory made was curated and posted. It was so thoughtful and intentional, that it caught attention of people. And so, her pages started to grow even more.

             By the end of 2021, she's traveled to a total of 4 countries. These trips in her words, āput a big hole in my pocketā. But, she didnāt stop. Traveling on a budget meant she had to learn to pitch hotels and restaurants to create content about them in exchange for their services.

             Sheād managed to squeeze out an unofficial leave from her place of work to make the trip. It was such an important one for her; a validation of her dreams to see the world. As the plane touched down the runway in Senegal, she burst into tears; brimming with happiness.

             And after her Masterās, she had to navigate moving to Lagos to work while building her Instagram page. All in all, 18 months had passed since her first travel before she was able to make her next trip. It was her first international flight, to Senegal.
