From personal experience:
Student-athletes, you better have a PLAN. Unless your an elite talent finding a home is no guarantee.
Leverage your brand, reltationships, and don’t be afraid to play special teams (lol) but true.
Business is business. Pay attention in class.

So far, the transfer portal has some pretty elite names, and has a plethora of talent that make this a very enticing class

My two cents, allow the portal, but when they choose a school they must stay 2 years unless there is a coaching change. Also, you cannot transfer to a school in the same conference. It won’t happen, but it will stabilize things a bit.

At least change the portal date to after the season is officially over. This was a horrible development for college football. Players dont want to put in the work and will do whatever to avoid any challenging circumstances. The portal is making football reality tv

With an 85 player limit you could create a conference of 13.9 teams already to this point!
