he is top 5 greatest center imo but 35-10-5 being compared to wilt? nah. Joel is averaging 10.5 FT mades compared to 6.8 by Wilt and most of that FTs. that's +3 for joel and yeah wilt plays 46.1 mins wilt averaged 37-22-5 not 35-10-5.

Thing i dont get is giannis shoots the same amount of free throws but he doesn’t seem to get called out for flopping, why?

He’s on a great run. Wonder what the field goal attempts is for 3 point vs 2 point. No 3 point back with Wilt and bigs didn’t shoot much outside of 12-15 feet

The magic game epitomizes why. If you get near him and that lumbering oaf trips over his own feet, it's a foul on the defender. He gets no fewer than 5-7 absolutely gifts a game via the officials. And it's going to cost them again in the playoffs when he doesn't get the bs calls.

When you get a whistle like this, how can you be stopped. Pushes off, trips over his own feet, is then rewarded with free throws. This exact play happened twice.

At his current rate of production, if Joel played 46 MPG, he’d avg. 47.4 PPG, 15.4 RPG & 8.0 APG. That’s nuts. Of course, if Wilt had been 88% FT shooter (like Joel is), he would’ve had an additional 354 pts in 63-64, which would’ve raised his scoring avg from 36.9 to 41.3 PPG

As good as he is, how much do think the facilitated flopping plays into this? When the officials essentially tell defenders you can’t breathe on the 7’ 300 pound guy, doesn’t that make it exponentially more difficult to stop him?
