OOI and 3newable tested a wave energy converter and UV illuminator at the Coastal Endurance Array. The WEC supplied steady sensor power, and the UV system reduced biofouling - showing potential for more resilient, lower-maintenance ocean observing. ๐Ÿ‘‰: https://t.co/v2dYh34lvh

Pioneer 22 wrapped up successfully, with the team back to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). After recoveries, deployments, and sampling across the shelf break, the ship even had a dolphin escort on the way home. Kudos to the CGSN team for their hard work.
