Oakcrest Law students recently visited The Atlantic County Criminal Courts Complex. Students were able to meet court staff & witness criminal sentencing proceedings. Thanks to Judge Levin and court staff for providing insight into the daily operations of the legal system!

Ms. Toy and Mrs. Molinelli's sophomore physical education classes completed their Adventure Network training and conquered their fears of our indoor climbing elements! Stayed tuned for the more challenging outdoor elements and zip-lining in the spring!

Mr. Ponzetti's Computer Graphics P7 and P8 classes completed work for Halloween. Student used Photoshop layer masks to achieve the effect using two images. Great job by all.

Oak's Annual PINK DAY, in honor of anyone that has been affected by breast cancer, is this Friday 11/18! Wear your best and brightest pink to school and keep it going for the spirit section at the home football game vs. St. Joe's @ 6pm.

Oakcrest's Science Club, advised by Susan Brownhill, is off to a strong start! In mid-September, they sponsored a slime-making event attended by 36 students. See Mrs. Brownhill in 322 to join!

Oakcrest Media and Film students visited New York City this week for a tour of the CBS News studios from Oakcrest alum and anchor Matt Pieper. The behind-the-scenes look at the facilities was awesome, and a great time was had by all!

Yesterday, Coles Music brought Dr. Quincy Hilliard to Oakcrest High School to work with the students of the band. Dr. Hilliard is a world famous composer, clinician, and music educator, and the student musicians had a great time learning from and working with him. 🎺🎶🥁
