The Ford govt's decision to take over more school boards is a thinly veiled attempt to shift the blame for its chronic underfunding. If @FordNation truly cared about #OntEd students, it would stop the cuts and make a real commitment to students with real investments in schools.

In today's Throne Speech, the Ford govt once again claimed "record investments" in #OntEd, despite the fact that it cut $1,500 per student. Instead of perpetuating dubious claims, it's past time for the Ford govt to make real investments in schools and Ontario's future.

When you blame other workers ask yourself who convinced you of that. We have more wealth & obscene profits that ever-it is hoarded and that is where you should look. Workers deserve fairness and we could afford proper schools, healthcare, long term care, retirement in dignity. .

Teachers have been working for yrs to ensure children have food so they are ready to learn. Thanks to the initiative of the federal govt to fund & work to get a partnership in place. Sad we are still waiting for the Ontario govt to get $10 Daycare in place. #OntEd Best to invest.
