The Memorial Hall was alive with the sound of music this week for our Teatime concert and we were delighted to welcome so many proud families to enjoy the stunning concert. With heart warming duets, vibrant trios and solos, the evening was one to remember. #WeareNULS

In our final assembly this term, we appointed our new Sixth Form Prefects and Co-curricular Captains. Congratulations to the new team - a highly capable team who personify our school values. This is a hugely prestigious accolade and we are very proud of you all. #WeareNULS

Pupils also competed in multiple music categories performing to an exceptionally high standard. With over 40 1st and 2nd placings across music and drama, our pupils performed amazingly well and did themselves and our school proud. Well done everyone! #WeareNULS

We are delighted to announce that over 40 of our pupils took part in this year’s Newcastle-under-Lyme Festival for Music, Speech & Drama. Our pupils gave outstanding performances of their acting pieces and the festival adjudicators commented on the high standard of performances.

Our Yr12 Geographers had a fantastic day at Salford Quays last week. Highlights of the field trip included a river cruise into the centre of Manchester and a trip to The Lowry Art Gallery to see how Salford has changed over time including an immersive 360 exhibition! #WeareNULS

Well done to Sixth Former Megan who completed the Stafford half marathon. Megan also ran to Stafford before the race and spent the afternoon at a charity fund raising event for the charity “Make-A-Wish”. Megan has done an excellent job so far raising nearly £1500 👏 #WeareNULS
