Yes indeed. A felony conviction is typically a minimum of 1 year behind bars and Cheseboro is getting probation WITH a chance to keep his law license if he completes probation unscathed. You don’t get that kind of deal without giving up some serious evidence/testimony

Chesebro pleaded guilty to a felony count of conspiracy. Overall, their charges were reduced in exchange for their cooperation.
This is how RICO cases work. You lump them in and get them to roll on the higher ups in the criminal org.

Disappointed af to know he may get to keep his law license. That’s not right! While the rest of us practice clean, he has a felony (and tries to screw the nation!) and may get to keep his.

A “chance” to keep his law license. Depending on the jurisdiction(s), his conduct will be thoroughly reviewed and it’ll be tough to get over the felony label, regardless of how minimized the agreement makes it sound.
