Evolved when he literally sees his petty hashtag actually kinda sorta work and then realizing that means it’s gonna fuck over wether or not new games are made
I guess
#Fire343
worked? Lol
In all seriousness this is a clusterfuck
No new game for years now, who knows if Steve Downes would even be willing to play Chief five years from now, its over
@NomadicAllo
Who actually cares anymore? Halo had a fan base so devoted they were blind to the money grubbing crap. Ultimately the hashtag was made to have a voice heard. That voice belonged to those who saw 343 under delivering. God forbid anyone have criticisms of a product
@SchmiDoJo_Viper
Imagine thinking the issue here is criticizing the game and not the rampant cringe surrounding the smooth brains thinking that harassing game devs and crying for a reboot/ending the series
@NomadicAllo
One thing i do think is worth talking about there.
People should probably prepare themselves mentally for the fact that its increasingly unlikely Steve will be involved if and when story content picks up again.
The man is 72 years old.
@NomadicAllo
Tbh, what the hell do they think will happen with 343? The other Xbox studios have their own projects and issues of their own. It logically make sense for MS to ignore halo for a bit while they try to get activision.
Thank god I’m invested in other ips than halo
@NomadicAllo
The idea that the hashtag worked really falls apart when you take into account the fact that 343 was not the only area affected by MS's layoffs and (more importantly) 343 put out a statement saying they will still be working on Halo
@nebulaofexcess
It’s my childhood game also and you don’t see me throwing a literal bitch fit and wanting people to unironically get fired. Infinite sucks but I’m not going to advocate for the folks at 343 to be fired
