@NobleNegroe So... you asked a question, and now you feel some ways about the answers you received? 🙄 Second graders are at least 8 years old... don't know where you got that 6 from. You can protect kids and be truthful enough with them so you don't set them up to fall into traps.

@_CharlesBrooks That’s what I’m getting at. School is not the place. And parents should bring their kids along at the pace of their maturity and learning ability.

@NobleNegroe By that time I was already exposed to that. Sometimes you have to stop babying kids. The world is a harsh place. And as bad as it was when I grew up, it's even worse now.

@NobleNegroe Very naive of you to generalize all kid’s experiences. There’s a way to tastefully do it. Six is old enough. I remember asking my grandfather at four why were people marching and he explained it to me.

@NobleNegroe When I was six my parents' best friend came out and started a long term relationship with another woman. My parents explained Aunt T loved Aunt J the way dad and mom loved each other. I understood completely. Took 3 seconds and caused no trauma.

@NobleNegroe Tamir Rice was 12 yrs old, when he violently found out that it was no longer safe for him to be playing in the park with a toy gun. So... if 6 yrs of age is too early, and 12 is clearly way too late, where should the protection of children, from the world as it is, begin? 🤔

@NobleNegroe A reverend should know that a child must be trained in a way so when they are old they will continue in that way. There is an age appropriate way to talk about everything with children even the hard stuff. The world is a real place with real dangers.
