I used to size up & press the gas if I felt confident until I realized my confidence before a trade has no correlation to the outcome of it. If anything confidence (the feeling) was negative for how they turned out. Now that decision comes only from the feedback I get from the

Most bad trades for me are related to being in a bad headspace. That’s something a lot of people don’t take into account when they are reviewing their trades. I’ve messed up perfect setups because of feeling under pressure in some way. I get focused on a certain outcome and end

Idk who needs to hear this but how active you are or how many trades you place is irrelevant. The only metric that matters imo is if you outperform the S&P500. If you are spending your time trading but would do better if you just held $SPY then you are wasting your time.

Truth! If you are struggling in the market its almost always because you are in your own way. You are doing too much. I always tell people to review their trades and ask if you would have performed better if you didn't interfere as much, and its always a huge 'aha' moment.

The best improvement I’ve made as a trader is not overreacting as much. I don’t hit the sell 100% button anymore or buy 100% all at one time. There are still uncomfortable days in the market, but the improvements in my mental game are paying off in my EC.
